Ambitious Mr. N

Ambitious -- an adjective so true for Mr. N
Mr. N is bold, risk taker. But does he actually work to win ! Or..
Does he work to avert risks? He is everywhere - omnipresent. But he fails to win on votes ! Thumbs Down !!
I say to him -- Dream on..... to run over the cliff.. ha.
It doesn't cost to dream.. but this dream when it breaks, reality hurts.
Myers Briggs personality test plastered him a Big N. N meaning Intuitive; meaning he lives in dreams. He is idea person.
But shouldn't the idea be finally based on reality, practicability or alike !

Its time to wake up to reality. Reality brings constraints to the table. These constraints will exist, as this world is not a perfect one.
As the father of economics, Adam would say -- The wants are still unlimited, and the resources still limited ! To aim high is good; To aim at sky is insipid.
You end up spitting on your own face.

Hope he understands this in time; life's too short to gift a second chance !

Daylight Saving Time.

Today we go back in time machine, to some of the wonderful memories. I was in Bangalore in 2003, working with Digital, now HP. Morning walk in Bangalore was fun.. Bangalore is full of gardens and temples and gardens and temples. With my description of beautiful mornings, my roomies; three of them, had promised to accompany me today morning. Three of us woke up at 6.30; while the fourth -- the lazy butt just wouldnt wake up. We left him and went for a stroll. On our way back, around 8.30 am, we decided to get some fun out of the new concept we had learnt -- Daylight Saving Time. This experiment was on the lazy butt of the day -- Saurin. On reaching home, we changed the time in all the watches in the house to point to 11.00 am. We woke up Sau and pestered him on his laziness and sleeping till late morning. We bugged him, asked him if he knew what was daylight saving; dropping him hints to no help.. this dodo just didnt get our hints.. hehe..

Normally, we would cook food at home, but that day we had asked the priests in temples to prepare the wholy prasad for us. The correct time to get the prasad was around 1.00 pm. But as Sau saw it, we were going to the temple at 3.30 pm.. haha.. but somehow this fellow never asked any questions in why we were having lunch so late.. hahaha.. Sau and I were to bring the prasad from temple; and I knew that by the time we go to temple he would realize the prank.. So I had told my other 2 roomies to switch back the watches of the house to point ot correct time till we come,..

Man.. but it went real crazy.. Sau didnt see the Big Clock in the temple and we came back without him realizing anything.. When I reached home.. i whispered to the other two about the situation.. and we three again changed the clocks of the house all in front of him.. poor Sau just didnt realize nothing.. hehehe.. We had Prasad and with our stomach full we were to have our afternoon nap..
Now finally once Sau slept, clocks were corrected for the last time.. So Sau slept at 5.00 pm and again woke up at 5.00 pm.. He woke me with a daze on his face.. wont forget that face ever.. The explanation of the entire thing to him was sooo much more fun.. and it surely brought a typical Sau smile... Day was made.. Fun was over.. Lesson of Daylight saving etched in our memory forever and we had a day to remember for life.. :-)
